League Eligibility

The age of the swimmer/diver for the entire season is defined by their age as of October 31, at the start of the swim year.

Swimming age groups:

8 & under
10 & under
12 & under
14 & under
Unlimited

Diving age groups:

11 & under
14 & under
15 & over

Members of high school teams are eligible to compete.

Members of college varsity aquatic teams are not eligible to compete in the SAL.

All Swimmers must be registered and be on the team roster before they may compete officially or unofficially.

Swimmers who previously swam for another SAL team must have a signed written release from their former team before they can compete.
