Officials Clinics
Stroke and Turn Judge, Starter/Referee
The league offers clinics at no charge in the beginning of the season to train volunteers for the technical jobs. Dates, times, and locations of the clinics will be posted on the SAL website at www.suburbanaquatic.org.
In order to become a Starter/Referee or Stroke and Turn Judge you must:
- Attend a clinic.
- Work two meets satisfactorily under the supervision of an experienced judge.
- Complete a test and mail to: Roger Ward 721 Springdell Road, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
At the completion of these requirements you will receive a SAL officials shirt.
Parents wanting to attend a stroke and turn clinic or a starter/referee clinic may attend one of the following:
Eligibility
Anyone interested can become a Stroke and Turn judge. To become a Starter Referee, you should have one year of stroke & turn experience (preferred).
